Suspended in an aural space, not bound by physical preconceptions of the other – Tender Observations of the Self is an interactive sound piece that invites the listener to engage in a moment of attentiveness to their own bodies. In gazing inward to our instinctive physical sensations, expressions and reactions, we are able to nurture a deeper connection and understanding of our subconscious state of mind. Participants are invited to engage in conversation by listening to the pre-recorded audio on the cassette tape, to which they can record their own voice notes in response.
